In this article, you'll find a list of possible error codes and corresponding messages that may appear while using the Shadow application. This article will also list suggestions on how to solve the error.

A-100 | Sorry, the login flow cannot be started | Check that port 32600 is not already in use and try again. Learn how to make your firewall compatible with Shadow. |
A-402 | Account on hold | Your payment was recently due and we were unable to charge your payment method after two attempts. In accordance with our Terms of Use, your Shadow has been placed on hold and you will be unable to access the service. Your account is at risk of termination. You can update your payment method to restore service. Please contact Support if you have any questions. |
A-403 | Invalid email or password. | Your account has been created, but our servers have not finished activating your Shadow or your Shadow is unavailable. If you've just preordered, wait until your Shadow has been activated. Check your email for more information. |
A-429 | Too many wrong email/password requests. Please try again later. | You've attempted to log in too many times and triggered a security mechanism designed to protect the account. Please wait at least 20 minutes. |
A-432 | Welcome back! | You can restart your subscription at any time and make the most out of all your games. |
A-468 | Ongoing scheduled maintenance. | Your Shadow is under maintenance and cannot be accessed at this time. See planned and emergency maintenance on the status page. This error may also appear if you've reset your Shadow. |
A-469 | Your Shadow is being deployed. Please try again later. | Your Shadow is under maintenance and cannot be accessed at this time. See planned and emergency maintenance on the status page. |
A-504 | Unable to reach login server. Please check your internet connexion. | The application could not receive a response from the login server. Either the login server is unavailable or something on the device is blocking this connection. See the status page for any known issues. |
A-599 | Check your internet connection. | Check your Internet Service Provider's website for any known issues in your service area. |

Shadow suddenly disconnected because the stream was idle for too long. Leaving Shadow idle will trigger an automatic shutdown mechanism. |

R-302 | Sorry, the current video settings are not supported | Try reversing any recent video settings changes, like rendering or decoding, and try again. Reset your settings if the issue remains. |
