This article lists the common issues that may cause payment problems you'll face with your Shadow subscription and provides an answer for each of them.
This error occurs when your credit or debit card does not have the balance needed to cover the payment of your bill.
Make sure to:
. Check the balance of your card. Sometimes an unexpected expense can leave your remaining balance lower than usual
. Contact your bank or financial institution directly to resolve the problem
. If your bank is unable to detect a problem, use another payment method
Incorrect / Obsolete Information
This happens when the information you have provided (CVV, address, card number, etc.) does not match the details of the card or the card itself has expired.
Make sure to:
. Check the payment details on your My Account page and make the necessary updates or changes.
. Contact your bank directly for additional assistance and confirm that no new cards have been issued.
In most cases, Shadow does not refuse payments and your bank can't tell Shadow why a payment has been declined.
If your bank declined a payment:
. Contact your bank directly for more details on the failed payment. They can help you solve the problem
. Try another payment method
. If a payment problem is not resolved, the account will be suspended after 6 days and your data deleted after 15 days.
