You may cancel your Shadow subscription at any time until 48 hours before your subscription renews. See our FAQs at the bottom of this page for more information.
To cancel your subscription:
- Log in to your account page.
- Click the Subscription tab.
- Click Cancel my subscription.
- Provide a reason and confirm your cancellation.
- After you click Confirm, a final summary will appear with your billing cycle end date.
I still have an annual Shadow subscription. Can I cancel it?
You can cancel your annual Shadow subscription any time, for any reason. If there's an issue with your Shadow or your subscription, please contact Support and share your feedback so we can correct the issue and continue improving our service.
What happens when I cancel my subscription?
Once you've cancelled your subscription, our systems will update your account status immediately. You may continue to use your Shadow until the subscription end date, available on your account page.
What do I do if I change my mind?
You can your subscription at any time before your billing cycle end date. On your account page, click Reactivate my subscription.
Once your subscription ends, you cannot restart your subscription. If you'd like to use Shadow, you'll need to resubscribe.
Why can't I cancel my subscription within 48 hours of my renewal date?
When your subscription is being renewed, several changes occur on our systems. Those changes need time for processing to avoid any discrepancies, such as time zone differences and invoicing. If you need to cancel your subscription and you have less than 48 hours before it renews, contact Support or send us a registered letter by post mail.
What happens to my data after my subscription ends?
The data on your Shadow's hard drive will be deleted immediately after your billing cycle has ended. This data is not retained and cannot be restored. If you'd like to, you can proceed to delete your account data.
