The Shadow Control Panel is the essential tool for setting up Shadow directly from the Windows desktop without using the application tools or the box.
Once on your Shadow and from the Windows desktop, you can access the application.
After clicking on the application, the Shadow Control Panel interface will open.
The Shadow Control Panel is divided into three distinct categories: CONNECTION, VIDEO and VARIOUS. There are a variety of other options available from the context menu at the bottom of the interface but we will come back to those later.
Automatic Quality: This feature automatically adjusts the bandwidth allocated to your Shadow based on your connection. This feature is still in Beta phase and may still have some stability issues.
Bandwidth Limit: Adjusts the maximum bit rate your Shadow will use to accommodate your connection. This bandwidth ranges from 5 Mb/s to 70 Mb/s.
Low Connection Mode (H265): Optimizes video compression for quality at a reduced rate. Make sure that your equipment is compatible with this standard (A computer
less than 4 years old). If you want more information about the H265, click here .
Alternative rendering of colors:
A mode to change the rendering colors and brighten the image, use this if you find that your Shadow is a little too dark.
Shadow mode: Activates an alternative rendering of Shadow special colors (recreational function only, totally useless and therefore completely essential).
Mouse Sensitivity: Changes the sensitivity of the mouse as the name suggests.
Enable Windows Updates: This feature has been put in place to avoid problems with updates that are inherent to Windows. If you want to get the latest Windows updates automatically, enable this option.
