Shadow has several shortcuts built-in to the application, making it possible to open or change settings using the keys from your keyboard.

When Shadow is open, you can use shortcuts to:

 

💬 Info: Ubuntu uses the Super key in place of Windows or Command keys found on most keyboards. If your keyboard was designed for macOS, press the Command Command key in place of the Windows key.

 

Shortcut

Result

Super key+ ALT + O

Opens or closes the Shadow Quick Menu, which lets you: 

  • adjust Settings without closing Shadow
  • set up your microphone
  • connect USB peripherals
  • see Statistics for Shadow's performance

Super key + ALT + F

  

Choose to display Shadow full screen or view
a smaller window.

 

Super key + ALT + M

Locked: Locks your mouse cursor inside the
Shadow app. Recommend for gaming;
especially first-person shooters.

Unlocked: Allows your mouse cursor to
traverse outside of the Shadow app window.

Super key + ALT + Q

Closes the Shadow window and returns to
the launcher. You can start Shadow to
resume where you left off.
